Pavel Cajthaml, born in Czechoslovakia in (1975). At the age of 14 Pavel was enrolled in the prestigious glass school at the historic Novy Bor Glass factory, Egermann and then Ajeto Czech where he was trained in traditional Czechoslovakian hot glass techniques.

Since graduating he has worked in production glass factories, and studios, all over Europe. In 1998 Pavel became the Head glass blower at C.I.R.V.A. in Marseille, France, where he worked with designers and artists for 2 years In 2002 Pavel moved to Canada and now works and teaches in Montréal, where he founded Baba Jaga glassworks .
